South Texas College will offer extended hours during the summer to assist students with advising, financial aid, and payment options.
For fall 2019 registration, South Texas College is offering extended hours in the summer to assist students with registration, advising, financial aid, and payment options.
Pecan, Starr, and Mid Valley campuses will offer extended hours June 1 and June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Pecan Campus will solely offer extended hours July 17 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Pecan, Starr, and Mid Valley campuses will offer extended hours Aug. 3, 10, 17, and 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Classes begin Aug. 26 and final payment deadline is Sep. 11.
Dean of Enrollment Services, Mike Carranza, says extended hours is important for students.
“We encourage students to take advantage of the extended hours if they can’t join us during the week. Staff is ready to help them register for classes or apply for financial aid.”
Classes not paid in full by the final deadline may be dropped. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, cashier check, money order, or credit card.
Registration and online services are available 24/7 through the college’s online portal.
