Several 'No Border Wall' groups have come together to host a planning meeting on Monday, February 20, at the McAllen Creative Incubator, starting at 6:00 pm.
"As sections of border wall continue to go up in the RGV, join us to explore how we can take action against further construction," reads a statement posted on the event's Facebook page. "In this meeting we will review our shared values and goals, which will serve as a basis for beginning to define long-term coalition strategy. We will also identify the resources we'll need to fight the wall, and explore plans for direct action."
The groups involved in organizing the meeting include the No Border Wall facbook group, the Texas Civil Rights Project, the Environmental Awareness Club and the Rio Grande Valley Equal Voice Network.
